Welcome to Leicester Deaf Action Group (LDAG)

The LDAG is a new user led organisation providing an alternative choice for Deaf people in Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland.
'Open House',  is a great place to meet on a Monday. The session runs from 10am to 12.30pm at the All Nations Centre next door  to our office. The session is run by the LDAG volunteers and is an opportunity for Deaf people and hearing friends to get together for a chat, have a cuppa and this runs along side a free letter translation and information service. The open house is also a great opportunity for people just to come along and have a chat and practice their BSL skills.

We organise trips and information sharing and training events The LDAG are continually developing their services and hope to offer Sign language classes, courses on how to use computers, the internet, internet safety and offering lots of information in BSL.

Signing Network are working with us and are kindly offering their services pro bono for the letter translation service. You can acess interpreters through them please see the link below.

We have recently set up an advocay service please contact us for further details. Or simply pop along to the letter translation service to be reffered.
